Puget Sound

Marine Area 6 SALMON - (CHINOOK Release Area) east of a true north/south line through the #2 Buoy immediately east of Ediz Hook July 1-Aug. 15: No minimum size. Daily limit 2 (combined) plus 2 additional PINK SOCKEYE. Release CHINOOK, COHO, and CHUM.

Marine Area 8-2 SALMON - (Tulalip Terminal Area Fishery) Sept. 10-Sept. 25: Open Saturdays and Sundays Only. CHINOOK – minimum size 22”. Other SALMON species – no minimum size. Daily limit (2 combined). Release wild COHO and wild CHINOOK. Anglers may fish with two poles with Two-Pole Endorsement.

Marine Area 9 TROUT - Nov. 1-June 30 Year-round: Catch-and-release except up to 2 hatchery STEELHEAD may be retained.

Marine Area 10 SALMON - Sinclair Inlet Fishery (see page 116 for boundaries) July 1-Sept. 30: CHINOOK – minimum size 22”. Other SALMON species – no minimum size. Daily limit 3 (combined). Release wild COHO and wild CHINOOK. Aug. 1-Sept. 15 release CHUM. Anglers may fish with two poles with Two-Pole Endorsement.

Puget Sound and Coastal Rivers

Black Lake Ditch from the confluence with Percival Creek upstream to Black Lake TROUT – First Sat. in June- Oct. 31: Minimum size 14” Daily limit 2. Selective gear rules. Other Game Fish - First Sat. in June-Oct. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit Selective gear rules. All Game Fish – Nov. 1-Fri. before first Sat. in June: Catch-and-release. Selective gear rules.

Hoh River from Olympic National Park boundary upstream to the Department of Natural Resources’ Oxbow Campground boat launch TROUT - Sept. 1-Oct. 10 & Nov. 21-Apr. 15: Minimum size 14". Daily limit 2, except Nov. 21-Feb. 15: 1 additional hatchery STEELHEAD may be retained. Aug. 1 Sept. 1-Oct. 10 and Nov. 21-Mar. 31: no minimum size for hatchery TROUT. Release wild RAINBOW TROUT.

Nisqually River from Alder Reservoir (Lake) upstream including all tributaries to mainstem and reservoir All Game Fish Other Game Fish - Saturday before Memorial Day-Oct. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit.

Puyallup River from East Main Ave. Bridge to Carbon River TROUT – Aug. 1-Dec. 31 Aug. 31 & Oct. 16-Dec. 31: Minimum size 14”. Daily limit 2. Other Game Fish – Aug. 1-Dec. 31 Aug. 31 & Oct. 16-Dec. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit.

White (Stuck) River (river section/seasons incorrectly omitted)
From R St. Bridge to Hwy. 410 Bridge at Buckley, Closed Waters – within the Puget Power canal including the screen bypass channel above the screen at Dingle Basin. All Species – night closure and selective gear rules. TROUT – Oct. 1-Oct. 31: Minimum size 14”. Daily limit 2. Other Game Fish – Oct. 1-Oct. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit.

Columbia Basin Rivers

Rosevelt Lake Tributaries between Grand Coulee Dam and State Hwy. 25 Bridge at Northport – except Barnaby, Nancy, and Onion creeks, the Canadian border except tributaries listed elsewhere in Special Rules TROUT - Saturday before Memorial Day-Oct. 31: No minimum size. Daily limit 5. Minimum size 8”. Daily limit 2. Other Game Fish - Saturday before Memorial Day-Oct. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit. STURGEON – CLOSED.

Sanpoil River

All other species rules still apply). from the western shoreline at the mouth of the Sanpoil Arm (as marked by a regulatory buoy) directly eastward across the Sanpoil Arm to the eastern shoreline of the Sanpoil Arm (as marked by a regulatory buoy) upstream to the north shore of the outlet of French Johns Lake (Manila Creek) northeast across the Sanpoil Arm to the north shore of the outlet of Dick Creek KOKANEE Apr. 1 June 1-Jan. 31: No minimum size. Daily limit 2. Other TROUT – Apr. 1 June 1-Jan. 31:– No minimum size. Daily limit 5 Up to 2 over 20” may be retained adipose fin-clipped TROUT only. KOKANEE not included in TROUT daily limit. WALLEYE - Apr. 1 June 1-Jan. 31: No size restriction. Daily limit 16. SMALLMOUTH BASS - Apr. 1 June 1-Jan. 31: Statewide minimum size/daily limit.
