Derek Mullens

Derek Mullens has served as a Director since 2010, and currently head of the Human Resources Committee. Derek has over 20+ years of HR experience within the retail, ecommerce, and CPG industries. Derek is currently the head of HR at Blue Nile. Prior to Blue Nile, Derek oversaw all of HR at Mike's Hard Lemonade, Car Toys, and Wireless Advocates. Derek's early career included stints at Linen's N Things and Macy's. Derek brings a broad range of expertise in many areas of HR including Organization & Employee Development, Employee Relations, Workplace Culture, and Compensation & Benefits. Derek graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
